After the sales of their construction companies in the early eighties and with the experience of development in Portugal since early 1970's, the McKinney Group refocused its experience from the construction industry into commercial development opportunities in the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

The company's offices actively pursue land acquisitions forward of market requirements.  RJ McKinney Ltd also prepares "subject to planning" land/construction packages for selected clients.  The company has recently undertaken to take up the role as developer in a number of key projects across Europe.

The Future

The McKinney Group is extending their core competency of specialist non-food retail, FOC's, Retail Parks in Europe and Healthcare.

Our London office is now the base of our Healthcare operation, and is working closely with recognised specialists, Healthcare Property Services. The operation is seeking sites on a UK-wide basis for care home, private hospital and retirement village occupiers.
